What internet speed do i need to be able to run LiberTV?
Because of the large amount of data, LiberTV needs a fast internet connection.

What if my internet speed is smaller than 1Mbit/s?
Basically LiberTV can run on computers with slow internet connections. If so, you will not be able to benefit from some advantages like viewing a movie while still downloading it. The bad news is that you will not be able to use LiberTV with a dial-up connection. It would take a lifetime to download the large videos.

Does LiberTV use the upload bandwidth?
Yes. Thanks to the peer-to-peer technology that LiberTV uses, other users will download from you while you download from them. This way transfer rates are very high.

Is there a limit of users that can watch a video at the same time?
No. The service can be scaled up to thousands and thousands of users. In fact, the more users are online, the faster you will be able to download the desired video.

My LiberTV shows me 'Couldn't load channelguide' at startup!
1. Verify you internet connection
2. Verify the Internet Explorer settings, especially the Proxy settings (Tools->Connections->Lan Settings)

I can not download certain videos!
We are still testing. The service can be inaccessible for short periods of time. If a download does not start immediatly, you can let LiberTV running in your system tray and when the service will be available the download will start automatically.

During download some movies have the status 'Error 0x800000xxx'!
Delete your download and try again. If the error persists please notify us through our contact form. Please attach the libertv.log (your_storage_folder/libertv.log)

LiberTV is very slow when i download/upload videos!You can limit the download or the upload bandwidth from the settings pannel (File->Settings->Network)

How can i change the storage folder?
File->Settings->General->Video Storage Folder ...(Change).
LiberTV offers you the posibillity of keeping or erasing the old downloads. If you want to move your downloads into another folder open the old storage folder and copy all its contents into the new storage folder (oops .. guess we did not work on this aspect too much)

How can i see the downloaded files?
In "Collection", right-click on a movie and click on Reveal Files

What is a "label"?
"Labels are like folders only better" (google). One video can have more than one label in the same time. For example, a documentary about our galaxy can have the labels "documentary" and "astronomy".
